Docrafts Demo May

Some samples for my next demonstration at The Range in Perth. I used :

• Filigree Tea set Dies and Geometric papers
• Santoro Stamps and papers
• Circle nest dies and Geometric paper
• Mr Smiths Workshop Paper pack. tool and brad embellishments.

These were all inspirations from our design team at docrafts

Fathers Day

Father's Day Jars I have been making also some small facecloth cakes containing men's shaving, hair and shower products.
I used Docrafts products to decorate the Jars glass paint and Mr Smiths workshop papers they are great for these projects

Fairies in a jar

Ta busy day today playing with fairies and glitter! My house, let's say is a little sparkly even my little yorkie Dora did not escape the fairy dust. I cut fairies with my Pazzles stuck them to the inside of the jar with ova glue then covered the outside with tissue paper added some iridescent glitter and finished with ribbon and embellishments. Then add a battery tea lite and It looks like you have a fairy in your jar.

Wedding Stationery

This is my Passion and the reason I started Paper crafting over 20 years ago.

Back in those days the crafting supplies where not as freely available there was no online buying But we managed. My first craft items where do crafts and I have never stopped buying them the stamp I used for this is Anita's

Mothers Day

Wow Mothering Sunday is early this year 6th March.
This cards I made from Spellbinder and Do craft Dies. I just love the fancy folds you can achieve with the dies

Flowers in a box



My first attempt at the little fold flat box cards they are quite easy to make. I think they are a brilliant concept for a card. I got the inspiration from blog hopping and Pinterest

Wedding Stationery designs

I have been working on my new wedding stationery designs, I love playing with my dies from do crafts, spellbinder and tattered lace and my little boxes for table decorations. I will be adding some photos later.

Good morning everyone hope your all well. I've been up since 6 this morning that's what happens when I craft till late, cant turn off the crafty ideas.
I've been working on wedding invitations this morning and also decided to have a go at making a folding box full of flowers I keep seeing on blogs and pinterest I will post a photo with instructions later today.

Docrafts demonstration

well that's my first demonstration done. Although it was snowing when I travelled up to Perth this morning, there were plenty of Crafter's about buying lots of crafting goodies.

I did lots of stamping using the time capsule stamps and designed a couple of love birds from one of the shapes which most commented on. One gentlemen asked if he could buy it for his wife's birthday as she loved birds.

There were lots of people out for crafty goods to start wedding stationery.

I will be returning in February 13th I'll have the Xcut X press to show all the different card dies Xcut have and the demonstrate all the different looks you can get from them.

My samples ready for my demonstration at The Range. St Catherine's retail park Perth, on Saturday. My tote is packed and I'm getting very excited about the event if I'm successful Ill be back again in February fingers crossed

Docrafts demonstration

well I'm doing my first craft demonstration at The Range Saturday 30th January in Perth. I will be demonstrating the new Geometric Neon and Mono range. I have had a look through the paper packs and there are some cute boxes, pouches and envelopes ideal for wedding and gift favours. The stamps  are gorgeous. I will post my samples here soon. Hope you at St Catherine's Retail Park between 10:00 and 16:00.

Happy New Year

Its a New Year and I have decided to keep my blog up to date weekly with all my crafting activities.

I have been trying some new crafts lately: Glass painting, Crochet, knitting and jewellery making mainly wrap around bracelets, I will post some photos of my projects.

I hope all you Crafter's got some lovely crafting goodies for Christmas I got some beautiful dies ( spellbinder, De'siree, Xcut and tonic and have not had chance to play with them yet.

Just the Job

 

A fun card for someone who has just secured a job in a call centre I used a photo in craft artist turning it black and white and also giving it a sketch effect

Spellbinder Wedding

 

This card I used my Spellbinder Dies and cream card, I inked the edges and stencil parts of the dies with whisper Vanilla.

I love these dies they can be used in so many ways

 

Birthdays personalised

 

Birthday cards are always fun to create the on above I cretaed in Craft Artist using Inkblot Butterflies digi kit. the personalisation is in the endearment Muth as that is what I call my Mam and always have! where can you buy a card that says it all.

This card was created in Craft Artist too with a forever friend image from a very early do crafts CD agian this card is for a 39th birthday but who wants to be 39 when you can be 21 with 18 years experience

Exploding Boxes

I love creating these memory boxes for that special occasion and have a tutorial for these on my blog under tutorial Pretty little box if you would like to look.

I use lots of puches and also my beloved spellbinders to decorate the lid and sides

This one is made from 3 sheets of A4 card and measures 9 x9 cm

 

I also make bigger boxes but use my Pazzles Inspiration and 12 by 12 card

Doras Puppies

Here is Dora with her puppies all five they are now nearly 6 weeks old and all have forever homes. It has been hard work as we had to hand rear one until it was strong enough to feed from its Mum and then taking turns at sleeping down stairs with the Dora and her pups.

 

They are very cute and very curious and get up to all sorts of mischief we have had to make every where puppy safe its like having a baby around again. but I wouldn't have missed it at all Dora has been a really good mother and I'm not really looking forward to the puppies leaving I will miss everyone of them as they all have their own little characters.
